In the aftermath of her stunning defeat in November, the Left wing dominated main stream media and allies in academia and the entertainment industry have fashioned a cottage industry that is creating all types of accounts and explanations regarding her election defeat including a blatantly false narrative of blaming the Russians and Putin as the cause of her failure. With the publication of a recent behind the scenes campaign book, the real story regarding her failed campaign is finally beginning to trickle out and demand some needed true coverage and investigation.
An overtly partisan media
It would seem that it would be in the best interests of our country that a knowledgeable electorate would go to the polls last November and be armed with all the necessary facts in hand to make an informed decision regarding which candidate to vote for. It should also be reasonable for the us to expect the media to have encouraged both candidates to have participated in the election campaign in an environment of transparency, openness and fairness.
The process of running for the office of the Presidency can be compared to a very long job interview where the media and potential voters attempt to determine where the candidates stand on the major issues of the day and learn about their qualifications for the job. Voters are curious about a candidate’s personality, temperament and character for all these traits are important ingredients that make a good, acceptable or poor leader. We can potentially learn answers to all these questions through the interaction of the candidates over time reacting to the media asking the right questions and providing open and objective coverage of the overall campaign.
Fake News dominated the public discourse
What become obvious during the campaign is that many in the media did not act as real journalists and exhibit any degree of objectivity in covering Hillary Clinton. In actuality, the process broke down to the point of having a majority of a partisan left leaning media actively promoting her candidacy and seemingly making her exempt from the vetting process. They permitted her to remain unaccountable to the American voter and fabricated a furious and continuous seemingly daily stream of negative coverage regarding Donald Trump.
A damaging omission
The most damaging omission by the media regarding Hillary Clinton was simply not reporting that with as many positions of public importance she has held over the years, why was there a track record of so few positive accomplishments? It is indeed remains challenging to list any constructive or significant achievements in the many roles she has assumed over a long public career. On the other hand, it is a relatively simple task to record her failures and episodes of demonstrating a lack of proper judgement on many occasions.
A track record of very little service to the public
With the majority of the main stream media running cover for her, what was the fundamental truth that Hillary was hiding? Let’s start with the simple reason behind the lack of a track record regarding past job achievements. On her many jobs, she considered the public interest as a distant second to fulfilling her need to enhance her resume with job titles, enhancing her networking opportunities and gaining influence and access to vast amounts of money all directed towards one objective. She worked her way proceeding in a logical and planned path driven by her blind ambition to move along to being elected as President of the United States. She had by design participated in a public service career of over thirty years while contributing very little in return in terms of service and contributions to the public good.
Hillary’s primary motivation – It was all about her!
If she allowed us even one moment of honesty and transparency and actually would have been straight with the American people and be publicly honest about answering the following question; why do you want to be President? What may have been revealed is the following; I’m doing this for my own egocentric reasons and will enjoy the vast power, control and life style that the office will provide me. Quite frankly, I have worked so long and hard my entire life and have become a prominent leader of the ruling establishment. If elected, I have fulfilled my lifelong dream and my actions over my career have made it obvious it is of little consequence to me whether the American people are better able to reach their respective dreams. I have worked so hard for this office, however, hardly ever in your behalf. Haven’t I demonstrated this distain for individual Americans strongly enough over my long career in public service?
What difference does it make?
It is important to understand that she never really cared about the average citizen or what is in the best interests of our country! The pressing concerns of individual citizens were never her concerns. Rather, it was always about her and her personal need for power and control! And during the election campaign, she worked with a complicit media on her side to avoid detection regarding this essential fact.
Hillary possesses an emotional make-up characterized as extremely narcissistic leading to a history of actions taken that were devoid of personal shame or limits. She remains isolated, steeped in left leaning radical ideology and out of touch with the average American citizen. If she had won and assumed the office of the Presidency, the experience was not going to cure what ails her. This is fundamental truth regarding Hillary and it is not overstating the case to feel very strongly that America was saved by her failures and the resulting election of President Donald Trump in November. And still the Left Wing power elites lament her defeat every day. They find it difficult to accept that they were rejected in such a definitive way and lost the most important component of their hold on power.
